san francisco state assemblyman tom ammiano is drafting and introducing a bill to legalize and tax marijuana in the state of californa during its greatest financial crisis. wouldn't it be crazy that california outlaws gay marriages but okays marijuana?
you know, considering both involves smoking on a lot of pipes.
there was an article today in the LA times about how the state wants to tax the marijuana ‘industry.’
the thing is….. the weed dispensaries have been paying taxes for YEARS. if anything, this industry is more than willing to contribute funds to bettering the state.
(however, of course, i am pro gay marriage.)
