los feliz is much more convenient than the westside, for me anyway.
I’ve recieved suggestions via comments and e-mail suggesting (overwhelmingly) that we meet in the Santa Monica/Venice/Long Beach area. Also suggested by a few people? Hollywood.
I believe the majority of us will be coming from the LA (mostly Santa Monica and Hollywood) area and a handful from OC. I really want to find a place that people will all feel comfortable to join (and I don’t want you to be majorly inconvenienced).
Again, I’ve overwhelmingly heard Santa Monica and Long Beach.
Would this be worth two seperate meetups or do the OC people mind a drive? Can you carpool? Long Beach would be more convenient for you, likely, but I also don’t want to alienate the LA people.
Let me know your thoughts.

2. We’ll pick a place.
3. We’ll RSPV.
4. Meetup is a go.
I’d like to pick a location in the next few days and I need a headcount. I’ll post soon with a time + place and I’ll ask you to RSPV via comment, most likely.
Once we narrow it down to an area, we can pick a bitchin’ place.

A week ago, I suggested that there should be some sort of LA/Orange County Tumblr people meet up, but I also felt it would be sort of a lost cause since much that classic McDonalds commercial, people tend to keep their internet side on the internet and their real life stuff, in real life. Now, if you’re into doing a Southern California Tumblr meet up, check out this blog out because it has plenty of information.
Although, if you’re interested in doing a meet up; nothing serious, just a drink or two on a Saturday night inbetween things. Like if you’re going to a thing later that night, just swing by or whatever, drop me a line (douglas.reinhardt@gmail.com). I’m suggesting a place lik the Griffin in Los Feliz. It may not be the coolest of places, but it’s pretty big, I heard the bartenders make a strong drink, there’s a Del Taco near by and a patio where you can smoke. So, e-mail me if you’re into and let’s try to put something together for mid January.
