- almost every teacher friend i have is about to be pink slipped
- my friends at various Cal State and UCs are at protests
- I’m applying to schools out of state because there is a greater chance of getting accepted or receiving financial aid
- we are hemorrhaging money for a war no one supports
- i can’t even fathom affording health insurance
- my appeal for unemployment? Denied.
