My friend, Tom, (who I visited in Chicago in July) took me to his brother’s wedding in Kentucky in June 2004.
This was at a bar in Cincinnati, I think, or at least somewhere in super southern Ohio/borderline ‘tucky.
I learned what cicadas are during this trip. FRIGHTENING.
He drunk dialed me last night (obvz home for the holidays) to tell me he was going to that place with the cow on the wall…. Northside Tavern(i think?).
I had JUST dug up this photo a few weeks ago, so it was a weird coincidence.
