who REALLY cares about end-of-the-year lists? not me.
with that, here is my list of 2010 recollections as a raging pothead can best remember (which means……most of the memories are pretty foggy)

- January: I don’t really remember how I spent last new years, if I did at all. I’m guessing I prolly got super stoney and went to sleep early after having worked all day. I took and aced a Cultural Geography class in the winter session…the first class of my serious ‘i’m going back to school and finally really getting it done’ initiative. The job I was at was draining the fun out of me and I was pretty depressed.
- February: uhhh. I know I was working and doing school. Single on Valentine’s Day, which really doesn’t matter to me. I finally woke up one morning and said to myself “I know there is a job out there that doesn’t make me miserable AND pays me more than 9 bucks an hour. My happiness is more important to me than a seriously shitty paycheck,” and quit that fucking job. Best feeling ever.
- March: funemployment was fun. Went to an open interview for a company I knew little about. it ended up being a group interview, which at first was weird, but ended up being one of my best interviews yet. Got a call back that night and did 2 followup interviews in the next week. Then the waiting began.
- April: panic attack city began. I spent my spring break alone with my parents visiting universities out of state that I got into and really didn’t want to go to. 5 days and 4 cities. spent the whole week freaking out and miserable. had another followup interview. began losing weight due to extreme anxiety/inability to eat or sleep AND by regular walks around the Rose Bowl. Homie B had her baby….really the 1st of my close friends to produce spawn.
- May: more school. Finally offered the job and began training mid month. Store opened 5/24. more anxiety, more weight loss, but more awesomeness due to a renewed sense of purpose. funemployment was a bit depressing.
- June: finish spring session….aced French 101, natch. Half birthday. 1st hypnotherapy session. Mind blown. All the best medical dispensaries had to shut down on June 7th and I was sad. Baseball games.
- July: work work work. uneventful July 4th….i think i was sick….i remember not seeing fireworks. 2nd hypno sesh. More baseball. The return of health insurance!!!
- August: work. Hollywood Bowl for….Chromeo + Chemical Bros?…that could have been early September. even MORE baseball. Blog turns 2 years old.
- September: school….fall session. Glen Ivy. Began regular biweekly yoga practice. Pink Martini at the Hollywood Bowl…fireworks. Fireworks at Dodger stadium. HempCon? I think it was around this time. Flu…early in the season.
- October: favesies month! work/school/etc. Finally hit up the DTLA Art Walk and was introduced to the Logitech Loft. met lots of new folks and several parties. had a nice Halloween despite having to explain my Pot Brownie costume more than I wanted to.
- November: Thievery Corporation/Massive Attack concert. school/work/started becoming unmotivated. Finally caught Public School after faaarrrr too long. Filled out college transfer apps. Thxgiving. Received acceptance to CSU Dominguez Hills LOL.
- December: finals. birthday weekend extravaganza. Glen Ivy. Kings game. Holidays. Making this boring list.
