chicagoland
so i went to Chicago in July 2009 for the first time. It was WAY RAD….and apparently one of the cooler summers on record, so I lucked out I guess.
Now I’m going in the winter. Or technically still fall…whatevs…but ido know it’s gonna be fucking COLD.
So the question is…. what to bring? I mean seriously….I have no idea what weight/type of coat to take (especially when trying to minimize everything into a carry on). Scarves, hats, gloves/glovettes, leg warmers, and neck tubes - I’ve got those covered. The boots are being repaired as we speak.
Any help is appreciated. And any awesome sauce suggestions on must sees is appreciated too. Last time included the usual touristy stuff: Wrigley Field, the art museums, the bean and that park, eating Chicago dogs…etc.
This is my bestie whom I will be visiting. It’s been too long!
