so there’s this girl i work with who is super nice and a great worker when she’s there… BUT she is also the girl who begs for more hours and when they give her more, she calls in sick for 4 days straight and asks for every weekend night off. (same girl who is catching all the dodgers’ games while I’m stuck working!)
she begged me to work on july 4th so she could have it off, so whatevs….i’m working a half day and hitting whatever barbeques i can at that point.
her trade off was “i can totally work on memorial day weekend for you!”
sweet, except I’m still working (and closing) tonight and tomorrow.
BUT…….i have sunday to do whatever the hell i want.
it just so happens that my friend, C, is housesitting in Venice this week. So if all goes to plan, we’ll be brunching and beach dwelling in venice until i head to the Cinespia thing that night.

i dunno, but something just clicked this past week and i realized i just want to enjoy la joie de vivre.
