so yesterday was my salon’s Earth Month Cut-a-thon to raise money for the Surfrider Foundation to help protect clean water.
we raised over $500. not bad.
…i am, however, glad that today is the last day I have to extol the benefits of contributing to charity to rich people unwilling to part with their cash.

a day of waking up late, brunch with C at alcove cafe - that she happened to pick up the tab for, lounging in and out of the pool, reading magazines while smoking a j in the backyard cuz i have the house all to myself for the week, a little wine and sushi, and all in all, it’s been a fucking great day.
i love these rare sundays off from work.

Sunday - woke up, drove for 3 and a half hours to summerlin, where ‘B’ lives. Saw his house. It’s nice, but super new homes like those in Vegas and tract-home planned communities are not for me. But considering what $450 in SF will get you vs. that amount in Vegas, his new place was a serious win.
